A Little Life Update & A Very Merry Christmas

You may have noticed over the past few months that I've posted less often and a little more randomly than usual. I've apologised many times for not keeping up with my posts and not taking part in the lovely blogger chats on Twitter. And although many would say I shouldn't apologise, I do feel guilty. I love my little blog and like to keep you up to date with my life and bring you new content that you enjoy. I also love reading and commenting on all your blogs which I've not been able to do much either.

BUT, I also have a life outside my little blogosphere bubble. And it's time to update you all on a few happenings ...

As you may or may not know earlier this year I decided that I wanted to train to become a makeup artist and hair stylist. Many people questioned my decision as it had only been a year since I complete my Geography degree. Many thought it was a waste to not use my degree, but that degree is mine now and no one can take it away from me.

I started my training to become a makeup artist and hair stylist in September and now only have 6 weeks left after Christmas! Scary times. My course has been full time and very full on, which has left me with little time to blog or even take pictures! In the evenings I'm usually too tired and end up falling asleep on the sofa and at the weekends I've been catching up on all the other bits and pieces I don't get done during the week.

December is also a particularly busy month with lots of birthdays, which has cut out most weekends. With the end of term looming I've also lost all motivation to do anything other than get through til the Christmas break. And now of course I've got time off, I'm busy catching up with all things Christmassy!

Hopefully in the new year I can be a little more organised and not as sleep deprived. I want my little blog to continue growing and for you to enjoy my content but equally know that for this to happen, I need to put some work in. I mentioned recently about starting to blog on set days so I think I might put this into place in the next couple of weeks.

If you've made it this far then thanks for sticking with me! I would love for you to leave me your blog links in the comments so I can do some catching up and find some new blogs to read! And on that note, I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
