July Favourites

Dior Addict Eau De Toilette

At the beginning of July, Dior released a new fragrance within their Addict range. When I first tried this I wasn't a fan but once it's had time to settle on the skin I absolutely love it. It's perfect for this time of year too because it's much lighter than a perfume.

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer

One of my friends recently used this on me whilst she was practicing makeup and I absolutely loved it. I decided to buy myself some and as you can see I've used this pretty much everyday since I bought it!

Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick

This was another product that my friend used on me and I loved it so much I actually went and bought one the same day when we went into town. I've never used Bobbi Brown foundations but I really love the creamy consistency of these and they're so easy to use. Instead of using this as a foundation, I opted for a darker shade to use it for contouring. This is absolutely perfect and gives lovely natural definition.

MAC Eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown

I've never really been a fan of using powder product on my brows until earlier this year when I bought an ELF eyebrow palette. I loved it but the powder shade was slightly too light and only worked if I used the gel shade that came with it. I decided I wanted to go for a more natural brow for the summer so went to MAC and picked this up. I definitely think this is going to be a permanent addition to my makeup routine.

MAC Powder Blush in Lovecloud

I bought this MAC blush from duty-free when I went on holiday in June. Ever since I bought it I've used it pretty much everyday and absolutely love the colour. It's one of those shades that looks lovely for a natural daytime look but can equally be layered for a brighter evening look.

Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Nourishing Lotion

I bought this a while back after reading several rave reviews. I was also sold on the fact that it smells of mango which is a favourite scent of mine. I used this for a while when I bought it and then stopped using it when I found the Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser. However recently I've gone back to using this and am loving it again.

What were your July favourites? Were any of them the same as mine?

  1. I really want to try the perfecting primer, I sometimes think that primers don't do much though.
    Lovely favourites :) x

    1. I really like it! Although I definitely get a better result with a dewy foundation rather than something matte. I agree, some are useless but I'm pretty happy with this one! X
