Holiday Goodies

My giveaway is over half way through now so don't forget to enter if you haven't already! You can enter it herehere and here. Oh and also here just incase you missed the other 4 links!

I went on holiday a month ago. That seems crazy because I feel like I've been back for months! I just wish I could go again because it was such an amazing holiday! Anyway, I picked up a couple of bits whilst I was away and wanted to share these with you.

At the airport before we went, I had a mooch around the MAC stand and when I realised how good the prices were, I had to invest! I picked up the Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NC15 and a Powder Blush in the shade Lovecloud, which is a bright mid-tone pink. I believe the concealer cost £9 instead of £17 and the blush cost £12 instead of £18.

Then whilst we were over there we found a fragrance shop that had amazing discounts. They also had a small section of makeup and skincare which also had really good deals. I had been after one of the YSL Babydoll Kiss & Blush stain/tint thingys (great explanation!) for a while so when these were on offer for the equivalent of £20 (usually £27) how could I resist? I opted for the shade 01 which is a gorgeous fuchsia pink.

I think there was a slight pink theme going on with my colour choices but can we please appreciate how beautiful these shades are! The concealer looks really light here but this is the shade that I wear most of the year, apart from when I have a very slight tan after being on holiday!

I wish I could go away again and even writing this post makes me sad that I won't be going back and if I do then not for a long time! But I've got some great memories and just because I'm not on holiday, doesn't mean I can't treat myself to some more makeup!

What do you think of the bits I picked up? Do you own any of these? Do you like my choice of shades?

    1. It's so nice! I wasn't sure about it on my cheeks as I don't usually go for a bright cheek but if you use a tiny bit and blend really well it gives a lovely shade that isn't too bright! X
