Battle of the Exfoliators

No7 Beautiful Skin Radiance Exfoliator
Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream

Clinique's scrub cream has always been a firm favourite of mine and I've used it on and off for the past couple of years. I never used to be a fan of exfoliating as it was just another tiresome step in my routine, however I now absolutely love using them and my skin feels so much better with a good exfoliating routine. More recently, I decided to branch out and try another exfoliator as the Clinique one is a bit pricey at £18.50 for 100ml. I decided to give the No7 one a go as I had a voucher to get £5 off so this would usually cost £8.50 for 75ml but I got it for about £2 something as I also had staff discount!

Now down to the nitty gritty (excuse the pun!). I've noticed that the Clinique scrub is a much thicker formula and the exfoliating beads are larger than those in the No7 exfoliator. The No7 exfoliator is also much more runny and therefore easier to wash off.  Having used both for quite a while, I definitely prefer the formula of the No7 exfoliator as I find the Clinique one can sometimes be too harsh on my skin. Although it helps with any dry, flaky skin, I also find it can be quite drying as sometimes it leaves my skin smooth but feeling tight and dehydrated.

I can't say that I've noticed any difference in the softness of my skin as these products both exfoliate well. The No7 exfoliator also claims to be a radiance exfoliator although I've seen no change in my skin in terms of radiance!

Both of these products will be staying put in my routine as I think it's nice to mix up what you use a bit. Obviously you get more product with the Clinique scrub however 100ml of the No7 exfoliator would cost you £11.33 so it would still be better value. I think the Clinique scrub is great if you're looking for a high end exfoliator and the No7 is a good choice for those of you looking for something slightly cheaper.

What do you think of these exfoliators? Have you tried either of them? Or have you got any suggestions of other exfoliators I should try?
