December Favourites

Rimmel Colour Rush Balm in On Fire
I really loved swatches of this shade, however when I bought it and first tried it I wasn't too sure about it. It's quite a bold colour for me but the more I've worn it, the more I like it and it's a perfect Christmassy colour.

MAC Viva Glam in IV
This was the first MAC Lipstick I bought and I have been loving it. I love the shade and if you want to see swatches, it starred in My Favourite Winter Lipsticks post. The finish of this lipstick is 'frost' which is great for this time of year as I find it really moisturising and doesn't dry out your lips.

Balmi Lip Balm in Mint
I received this on the second day of my Boots beauty advent calendar. I have never tried Balmi before and have been really impressed. It's the perfect size to carry around and is a life saver in this cold weather. I had a couple of days at the beginning of December where my lips were really dry and cracked and this was my go-to product. It cleared up my dry lips so quickly. I really want to try out the other flavours now too!

Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer
This was one of the first primers I ever bought. I've been using it for about 2 years now and it's definitely a winter staple in my make up routine. It definitely helps keep skin hydrated and minimises dryness. I've not used it much in the last year, as I've been trying out other primers but I started using it again a couple of months ago and have pretty much used it every day since!

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium
I picked this up at the end of November when my work had a staff discount day. I blogged about it in my MAC Haul. I have been loving this powder and now rarely leave the house without it. I mentioned that I wasn't sure if Medium was too dark for my pale skin and I'm still not 100% but it's nice to have some colour without looking like a tangerine! I'm also really impressed that by topping up with this powder halfway through the day makes my make-up last so much longer.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Thermal Protection Hair Serum
Finally, I have been loving this hair serum. I blogged about this way back in October in my Battle of the Hair Serums post and have still been loving it. It's definitely been a favourite especially with all this poopy weather we've been having recently.

What were your December favourites? Were any the same as mine?
