Blogmas Day 21 - Christmas Candles

Welcome to Blogmas Day 21! I thought I'd share a few of my Christmas candles with you - some are Christmassy scents and other are more all year round scents that I love at the moment.

My first favourite is this Redcurrant & Cranberry Stoneglow candle. It's quite a sweet scent but I absolutely love it and it's perfect for this time of year. I'm not really into most Christmas scents as I don't like the smell of cinnamon and the majority smell like cinnamon to me!

Secondly is this Mandarin Cranberry Yankee Candle. I received this for my birthday from one of my closest and oldest friends and it smells so yummy! I'd never seen this Christmassy scent in the Yankee range so was pleased to finally find a Christmassy Yankee candle that I like!

Finally, earlier in the week I popped into the Yankee candle shop in town and picked up these 4 scrummy scents. The first one is Midnight Jasmine but my mum got a bit excited and took it out the packaging before I had a chance to take some pics! Although only one is Christmas related (Cranberry Ice) I love all the other smells at this time of year if I don't want to burn a Christmas scent. I have this purple Merry Christmas tea light holder which is the perfect size for these Yankee candles. I also have my name on a tea light holder. This one isn't so good for these Yankee candles as there are a bit too tall but you get the idea!

As you can see I have quite a thing for cranberry scented candles - I hadn't realised until I wrote this post that they all had cranberry in … oops!

Finally a little sneak peek at where my candles live plus a couple of others not mentioned above as they're more spring/summery scents.

What do you think of these candles? Do you have any of them? Or what are your favourite Winter/Christmas candles?

  1. The first candle looks so pretty! I don't really use candles but I'd love to just display one of those in the house. Where is it from?

    1. It's lovely! Yeah I think that's why I like it so much because it looks so pretty even without lighting it! The best place to try is the Stoneglow website but I think you can get them in John Lewis too! X

  2. I only burn candles at Christmas....I only seem to like this at this particular time!

    1. I burn them mainly at Christmas too and after Christmas while it's still cold! X

  3. I love your blog! I nominated you for a Liebster award, you can check it out here :) http://confessionsofanessexgirl.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/liebster-award.html
