Blogmas Day 12 - #BritishBloggerSelection - Haircare

Woahhh we're halfway there! I hope you're enjoying Blogmas so far and for those of you involved that you're managing to keep up! Today I bring you another #BritishBloggerSelection post and this week the theme is haircare.

1 & 2. VO5 Smoothly Does It Shampoo & Conditioner (£3.99 each)

3. John Frieda Frizz Ease Thermal Protection Hair Serum (£6.29)

4. Denman D200 Vent Brush (£5.99)

5 & 6. John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Ahead Shampoo & Conditioner (£5.59 each)

7. Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment (£7.99)

8. VO5 Plump It Up Dry Backcomb Spray (£3.79)

All of these products are available from Superdrug and/or Boots.

I currently use the VO5 Shampoo and Conditioner but I also love the John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Ahead range too and switch between the two from time to time. After most washes I use the John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum on towel dried hair to reduce fly-aways and protect my hair as I straighten it every day. My favourite hair brush is this one from Denman and a big bonus is that it is so easy to use on wet hair as you get minimal snagging.

Other products I use every now and then are the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment and the VO5 Backcomb Spray. I tend to use the hair growth treatment every other time I wash my hair or even every 3rd time if I forget! I'm loving it so far and as mentioned in my November Favourites I will review this once I've used it a bit more. Finally I occasionally use the backcomb spray to give my hair a bit more volume. Backcombing damages hair quite a bit so by using this spray you reduce that as you just spray it on and massage it in to get the same effect. Admittedly it doesn't last as long as thoroughly backcombing your hair but it is a good alternative if you want to reduce the damage you cause.

So there you have it, my haircare routine.

What are your favourite haircare products? Do you use any of the ones I've mentioned?

  1. I've been using the Lee Stafford hair growth treatment for almost 2 months now, so fingers crossed it's had a positive effect :o). Xx
