Quote of the Day #3

It seems I rather like this quote as I have pinned it onto the same board on Pinterest twice!

I'm not going to ramble on too much about this quote as I don't think it needs much explaining. When I read it I think the 'battle' is something awful, but it may just simply be that someone is having a bad day. Either way, who are you to judge? It makes no difference, you should be kind no matter how small or large the battle may be!

This quote is also quite personal to me as I suffer from anxiety disorder (I'm not going to go into all the details). Although I have good days amongst those filled with anxiety, the battle is still constant. I would never expect to be treated differently, as most of the time you wouldn't even be able to tell but on those tough days a bit of kindness never goes a miss!

So next time you're out and you come across someone who isn't so friendly, take a minute to stop and think about the battle they may be fighting. And don't forget, even if you meet a happy person, you never truly know how they may be feeling!

What do you think of this quote? If anyone would like to discuss any aspects of anxiety, or need some friendly advice please feel free to email me!

  1. Love this Quote! I totally know what you mean with anxiety, its a really hard battle. its definitely taught me to not judge people, because I don't know what kind of day they have had

    1. Aw thank you! It's lovely to know that others feel the same! Loving your blog too :) X

  2. This is what I always think! I swear something similar popped into my head today when I overheard someone being rude. You never know what's going on in people's lives or even what's going on in their head. I suffer from social anxiety but no one would ever know because I've mastered the art of a smile!

    1. It's so true! Most people fighting a battle do manage to put on a brave face but you should be kind regardless! X
