Last week, I popped into town on my day off to pick up a couple of bits and pieces but came home with a few more than intended! So I thought I would do a haul post.
Firstly, I popped into Topshop as I wanted to buy a pair of Leigh jeans in grey to wear to work instead of wearing black jeans all the time. Whilst I was in there, I also bought this grey striped top:
Linen Mix Stripe Tee
I then went to Boots to buy a couple of products I've been wanting to try for a while. They all happened to be L'Oreal products, which I didn't realise until I got them home!
The first was the Manicure Serum 7 in 1 Saviour. I have never bitten my nails but suffer with layers of my nail breaking off easily. I saw this advertised in a magazine (either Glamour or Cosmopolitan - my memory fails me!) and thought I would give it a try. I've used it a couple of times and so far it seems to be working!
The second was the L'Oreal Elvive Smooth & Polish Aqua Serum. I suffer from frizzy hair, especially with the rainy weather we're having in the UK at the moment! For £5.99 I thought I would try this as I've used similar products from other brands and never had great success. Having used this 3-4 times since buying, I have definitely noticed a difference.
The next two products are from the Skin Perfection range. I wanted to try the 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution as I've seen many a rave review about Micellar Water and had to check it out for myself. So far I have been loving this! While I was looking for this, I also came across the Cleansing & Protecting Milk and although I love my Simple cleanser, this was on offer so I thought why not try something new!
Once I've used these products a bit more, I will probably review them all so let me know in the comments if you would like reviews on these products.
Finally I stopped off in Primark to buy a pair of tights and ended up with a bit more! I bought these tights, which look like normal tights, but are not! They have built in socks, so they are extra comfy to wear with boots! I think this is a brilliant idea and can't wait to try them out!
I also bought the two burgundy dresses pictured above. They are both skater style dresses but I like these ones because the skirt is not too floaty. The polka dot one on the left has 3/4 length sleeves and the one on the right is rose print with short capped sleeves and a slightly lower back.
Finally I bought a grey t-shirt with pink roses on but completely forgot to take a picture of it as it was in the wash! But I intend to blog a workwear lookbook soon and it will probably feature in that so watch this space!
Have you bought any of these items recently? Or has this post inspired you to buy/try them?
