Outfit - Smart Casual Workwear

This wasn't my intended post for today, however I had two trial days to work for a company in London on Monday/Tuesday and wanted to share my smart casual (smasual!) workwear outfit. This was my chosen outfit as I didn't want to be too over dressed but equally not too under dressed. I felt just right in what I chose to wear.

1. Burgundy shirt - New Look - Buy HERE
2. Nude Shimmery Belt - Accessorize - Buy similar HERE
3. Black Blazer - Uniqlo - Buy HERE
4. Black Pumps - Primark - Buy similar HERE
5. Black Maxi Skirt - New Look - Buy HERE
6. Burgundy Nica Tote Bag - Nica - Buy similar HERE

I tucked the shirt into the skirt and teamed with a nude shimmery belt to break the outfit up a bit - plus to hold the skirt in place as it is a tad too big! I decided to wear flats as I wanted to be comfortable for the day and I'm pleased I did as all the other girls in the office were in flats. I think heels would have made this outfit a bit too smart. Finally I wore my black blazer to smarten the outfit up, however this blazer is super soft and not too fitted, which makes it more casual than other fitted blazers.

I also used my Nica bag, which I absolutely love and it went really well with my chosen outfit. Nica are a lovely brand of bags and not too expensive so I would definitely recommend them.

I hope you enjoyed this fashion related post and look out for my intended post later in the week!

Have you recently started a new job? What are your go-to smart casual items of clothing?
