Zentangle is a creative form of art, which turns drawings into an artistic design. It helps reduce stress and improve focus and the best thing about it is that you don’t even need to be artistic, anyone can do it! All you need is paper, a pencil and a pen - preferably a fine nib black ink pen.

I have only recently started zentangling so am still getting to grips with it but am thoroughly enjoying it. The trick is not to be too fussed if it goes wrong, you just elaborate on it rather than start again. To learn I used the Zentangle Basics book and have since purchased the Joy of Zentangle book, which provides many more tangles .
Below are some I have created.

Once I had practiced a bit, I decided that I wanted the tangles to be drawn out so I could see them easily without having to flick through a book. I bought some mini tags and have drawn out each tangle on one, which is much easier to flick through.

For those of you interested in learning how to Zentangle, these are the books I have used, however there are many websites on Zentangle so have a mooch on google too!

I hope this has inspired some of you to give it a go, and remember anyone can do it!
